This Little Piggy Catering was absolutely great to work with. From the initial contract signing to the day of the wedding Vanessa (our contact) was available to answer any questions and update our menu as needed. This Little Piggy was very easy to work with and met our expectations in regard to contract fulfillment and payment.

We received a TON of compliments on the food and it was DELICIOUS! The food on the day of the wedding was just as delicious as the day we did our initial tasting! Little Piggy arrived on-site, on time and there were no issues during service. They kept the food coming all through dinner service and were very friendly to us and our guests.

10/10 would recommend for a more laid-back BBQ wedding!

We were extremely happy with Little Piggy Catering for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. They were very easy to work and to top it off, they were prompt and on time even though there was a snow storm the day of the wedding. We had a buffet which worked really well for all of our guests. The presentation, taste of the food and service was everything we could have hoped for. The staff and bartenders were very efficient and friendly to work with. We utilized This Little Piggy Catering for our wedding (about 200 guests), and we were extremely happy with the food and quality service that they provided! The food was excellent - try the whole roasted pig and mac and cheese:) We went with the Vintage option, which matched perfectly with our wedding theme.

We held our wedding at a venue with new owners, and This Little Piggy went above and beyond to help not only us, but the new owners in organizing and pulling the event together. Abby was especially great to work with - between meeting her in person at a tasting to the emails and phone calls, she was very patient and kind. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Little Piggy Catering was professional, punctual, friendly and the food was fabulous. They were flexible and able to work with the way we were setting up our graduation party. They brought their own tables for serving which really helped a lot. The Presentation of the food was awesome as was the selection of food - which was important because we also had Vegan attendees at our party and we wanted to be sure we were accommodating them. .

This little piggy catered our wedding and we were very happy with the food and the service. The pulled pork is to die for!

This Little Piggy was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had a private venue and they were completely understanding of our space and time. Abby is a dream to work with, through my multiple idea changes, requests, and questions. The catering and bar staff were wonderful on the day of the wedding. The bar tenders put up with our intoxicated guests with professionalism and grace. My husband and I were laughing with them at the end of the night. Oh! and the FOOD! We still have people complimenting us on the food! We had the whole hog roast, corn bread, summer pasta salad, and grilled asparagus. The pork was moist and tender. It made wonderful sandwiches! I'm just bummed we didn't have any left overs to take home! (Our guests ate all of it!) If you are questioning whether or not to have TLP cater, don't! They are wonderful, talented folks.

We just had a graduation party for our daughter featuring This Little Piggy's Mac & Cheese. Staff was courteous and helpful. All of my calls/questions were answered promptly--and I had a lot of them! I was also given helpful reheating instructions. The Mac & Cheese was AMAZING--tons of compliments from guests. I will definitely use This Little Piggy again in the future. FABULOUS SERVICE!

We hired This Little Piggy Catering to cater a pig roast for my father's 75th birthday at the family lake property. James Gonzalez made sure that everything was planned and executed to perfection. Evan and Maria did a marvelous job as our servers. They were so much fun while still being professional. Since we planned this major event on short notice, I am still amazed that everything went so well, especially the food that as both fresh and delicious. I feel like I just plain lucked out in finding these folks when my siblings asked me to find a caterer. What a great experience!

They catered our wedding May 20th, 2016 at Bloom Lake Barn. They were amazing! Best food we have ever had at a wedding. Mac and cheese and the roast turkey were our favorites, but everything was great. Easy company to work with, very responsive. The set up, service, and clean up all went smoothly; with no over sight needed. We get compliments every day on how much people loved the food at our wedding. We would definitely recommend to anyone for their future catering needs. Thanks for helping make our day so perfect and impressing all of our family and friends!

The process of hiring This Little Piggy for our daughter's wedding was a breeze from the beginning. Responsive and helpful staff. Delicious meal and, again, helpful friendly staff at the reception. I would highly recommend This Little Piggy!

I know saying that this was by far the best wedding food I have ever had is pretty biased because it was my own wedding, but it was probably some of the best wedding food I have ever had. What made it so good was that it was food you actually wanted to eat. We had a whole roasted pig, watermelon mint feta salad, baked beans, summer quinoa salad, jalepno corn bread, and red German potato salad. I can't pick a favorite because it was all so good, but probably if I had to (after the pig of course) I would choose the watermelon salad. It was a hot day and that was very cool and refreshing. Everyone remarked though on how good the food was. Again, it wasn't froo-froo wedding food; it was actual food you want to eat and it is well done.

I would suggest doing one of their larger tastings so you can try the full menu. There were things we thought we would like that we didn't, and vice versa. It really helped us get a sense of their food and helped us pick the right things for us.

The service was also good at the wedding. The caterers were on time, polite, and very professional. I never heard any complaints about there not being any food or that something wasn't ready yet. They made sure the buffet line had everything it needed. They setup quickly and they took down quickly too. Part of how they keep the price down is by being efficient, and it showed.

The only issues we had with them were on the backend (the headquarters you could say). We booked them sight unseen (or untasted) because of the glowing reviews of their food (which are well deserved). Booking them was pretty easy and straightforward. Things got murky though when it came to communication. I would e-mail one person and get a reply from another. I wish they had appointed us a contact person like our bartending service did. It was, at times, frustrating trying to get things figured out because I had e-mails from three different people.

We also felt like they weren't super transparent about their fees and contracts. We booked their service very far in advance. After attending a tasting in April we decided to upgrade to the vintage package. The vintage package came with nice plates and silverware, plus a table cloth for the buffet table. That increased our overall cost, but it was still within the budget range. After meeting with our venue coordinator she told us that she could offer the same service but at half the cost. We called Little Piggy to switch our service, but they told us that they couldn't once a contract had been signed. While it did say that on the contract (which I wish we had read more carefully), it felt a little dishonest not to say that upfront. All of our other vendors were very clear and upfront about all the "hidden" costs of their businesses.

They also waffled on charging us for our final count. When we signed our initial contract we really had no sense of where our final numbers would be. We guessed high because we wanted to give ourselves a ceiling. Well as it got closer we got a better count of how many adults and kids there would be. I was told initially that you can't lower your count after the contract has been signed. When I spoke to the person who would be coordinating our catering she was fine with us lowering the final count and lowered the cost too.

Their logic to behind the no changing count or package is that they staff according to what you say you will need. Totally reasonable and understandable, except that we were trying to make changes 6 months out.

Overall though the confusion with the backend didn't hurt the overall quality of the food or the service on the day. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any event.

Just used this little piggy for my wedding catering and was very happy with it. We ordered the full roasted pig and it was absolutely delicious. All sides and salads were fantastic too. We received many compliments about the food from all our guests. It was also nice working with this little piggy and their friendly and helpful staff. Make sure you discuss everything you want included, but they are very helpful in adapting the menu and order to your specifications and wishes.

We did not do the fancy linens, real china and such because it simply was not in the budget. The day of came with 2 staff members. Wonderful personalities, very helpful. It went great. Everything was as it said it would be, prices, time, ect. They also only charged a falt cake cutting fee (where some cost $1.25 a slice), so that really saved us. It was amazing. I still run into family and they rave about the mac-n-cheese. Only bit of advice I would give, is once you give them a number, you cannot go under it. It ended up not being a problem, just wish I would have known. I also liked that we got to keep the left overs (snacked on the whole honeymoon/roadtrip) and that you can also serve your handmade food as well. Veggie option as well. Our grill 'meisters' and servers were outstanding today! They were so personable, helpful, capable, polite, and fun. The food was grilled to perfection, the salads freshly chilled, the corn warm and buttery, the buffet table perfectly set to keep my folks moving thru smoothly. Your crew was proactive paying attention all the time; even picking up the paper plates from folks seated at the tables when they were done eating. Impressive! Our folks enjoyed every minute, as did I. Thank you!

This was our second year using This Little Piggy Catering for our Company picnic. Our employees enjoyed the food and service so much last year, we saw a 50% increase in attendees this year. Not only was the food amazing, the service was exceptional! Seth, James and the rest of team at This Little Piggy went above and beyond - even teaching the kiddos how to make cotton candy! Whatever your event, you will not be disappointed with This Little Piggy!

Amazing wedding day. The food was excellent and so was the service. I really did not have to do a thing. I prepaid everything and wasn't bothered at all so that we could enjoy our daughters wedding day.

This Little Piggy Catering didn't an excellent job with our daughters wedding on 7-18-15.  All our guests were all commenting on how wonderful all the food was.  The staff was also amazing and answering to all our needs.  One of my grandsons had 4 helpings of the Mac and Cheese and then some the next day.  He just loved it and so did everyone else.  Also great comments on the Italian crusted chicken.  Guests had never had this before.

This Little Piggy was great - the food was amazing and the servers were very personable and did a great job.  We had a small wedding in the spring so celebrated by having a large reception with all of our friends in family in June.  We chose a pig roast with a variety of sides and everything was delicious, many of our guests commented on the great food and service.  Highly recommend TLP for your catering needs!

Our guests have been very happy with the food and I've noticed their servers are extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. For a casual backyard-style wedding, they are really on top of their game. (Also their mac'n'cheese is awesome!)

Also, the ice cream sundae bar was a huge hit, and the piggy wing appetizers were the best!  We got the Vintage Wedding Package, and it was definitely worth it to us.  I would absolutely recommend them to everyone for their event.

We hired This Little Piggy to bring a pig roast to our home for a grand birthday/anniversary party. The food was terrific, the service excellent. The three servers stayed in the background, doing their jobs and helping us to give a perfect party. Having them take care of the food; all of the food, was such a relief to me. We had 56 guests.
